Top 5 Best Korean BBQ Gwinnett

Want to catch up with friends or family without breaking the bank and the inevitable headache of finding the right spot where everyone can enjoy? Korean BBQ is a collective experience that offers your guest a fun experience! Korean BBQ is typically a DIY experience highlighting a grilled meat and generous sides. Here's a list of my favorite Korean BBQ Dining experiences in Gwinnett that you're sure to enjoy!

Breakers

3505 Gwinnett Pl Dr NW UNIT 101, Duluth, GA 30096

Call it a steakhouse with chopsticks. Prime cuts of Angus beef and expertly trimmed pork are first seared over charcoal and then finished tableside, but there are also jumbo prawns and scallops to be had. Attentive service is frankly not part of most Korean dining experiences, but it is here.

678 Korean BBQ

3880 Satellite Blvd, Duluth, GA 30096

Diners have a choice of three popular dishes: galbi tang, a beef short rib soup, wooguhji galbi tang, a slightly spicy beef short rib soup with cabbage, or yookgaejang, a red hot soup with slices of flank steak. All three come with rice and a number of side dishes to round out your meal. The soups are warm and flavorful providing nutrients in a rich broth that is perfect for a hot summer day. Koreans believe that this is the best way to restore salts and vitamins lost while perspiring in the summer. After this meal, you are sure to feel recharged and ready to conquer the rest of your work day. For busy parents with kids, 678 BBQ also has a terrific kids play room with toys and videos on a large TV screen. Parents will definitely enjoy a meal in peace without having to worry about the children. A full menu of grilled items is also available for those wanting something heavier or just craving a full course BBQ midday. In any case, you are sure to leave full and happy. Be sure to stop in and take advantage of the terrific lunch specials any day of the week during lunch.

Honey Pig

3473 Old Norcross Rd #304, Duluth, GA 30096

Since 2007, Honey Pig has been serving great tasting Korean BBQ in Duluth. Being the first Korean barbeque restaurant in the area, it piqued the interest of many. Unlike most Korean barbeque restaurants, Honey Pig utilizes the iron-cast lid (aka “Ssot-Dduk-Kung”) method of grilling. Shaped like an upside down wok with a cylindrical handle at the center, the lid is heated by a flame beneath and meats, Kimchi, and bean sprouts are grilled directly on top.

Iron age

2131 Pleasant Hill Rd, Duluth, GA 30096

With a few locations around metro Atlanta, Iron Age Korean Steak House is a full DIY Korean barbecue dining experience. They have three locations in Georgia that are all distinctively designed. Enjoy the ambiance good for groups and a full bar to indulge! Customers love the exceptional service and you will be sure to stay hip to the Current K-POP & Trap hits! Here I recommend the Pork and steak options!

Where to enjoy:

-840 Ernest W Barrett Pkwy NW #540, Kennesaw, GA 30144

- 5600 Roswell Rd Suite M011, Sandy Springs, GA 30342

Miss Gogi

6035 Peachtree Rd Ste C115, Doraville, GA 30360

MISS GOGI means “I Miss Meat” in Korean, it is a restaurant where you can enjoy sliced beef, pork, chicken and seafood grilled right in front of you. MISS GOGI in Gwinnett offers A+ service with wonderful ambiance and mouth watering meals. This true Korean dining experience feels more like a nightclub (and it's open until 2 am where the party truly starts. This is definitely an experience! Enjoy the Brisket, you won't regret it!

Chris Tran Hot Take:

The service is always incredibly fast, they will come by every few minutes to help cook the food that is on the grill if you are a first-time customer, but they also leave the utensils there if you’d like to cook it yourself. Some Korean BBQ spots have two different menus most people choose the unlimited because you get more for your money. When seated you are usually served some type of appetizer- seasoned salad, kimchi, potato salad, pickled radish, garlic, and jalapeno. You will also usually get a few sauce options: teriyaki sauce, olive oil, peanut sauce and hot sauce. Brush up on those chopstick using skills to get the full Korean BBQ experience

Do you have a favorite Korean BBQ Spot you absolutely love that's not on this list? Let me know in the comments!
