All time favorite Breweries in Metro Atlanta

Georgia has many small breweries throughout the state that offer freshly made, fabulous tasting brews. Grab the guys, and your DD because we're going on a tour of my favorite Breweries around metro Atlanta.

Good Word Brewing & Public House

3085 Main St. Duluth, GA 30096

Good Word Brewing and Public House in Duluth reopened for dine in service in June, but it’s still offering both beer and food to-go Wednesdays-Sundays. If your in the Downtown Duluth area, stop by and get your fill of great drinks and food. Don't drink on an empty stomach, I suggest the Charcuterie board if you're just going for the beer or the empanadas with your Flight of Beers!

Monday Night Brewing

670 Trabert Ave NW, Atlanta GA 30318

Monday Night Brewing is all about creating some classic craft beers. Some of their classics are the Blind Pirate, Nerd Alert and Eye Patch Ale. They hold tours on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Their brewery is famously branded with trend of skinny ties and Monday's are overrated. I love the open space, and a community-oriented features that promote socializing. They have great free games, a large flat screen to catch up with your favorite team and THEY ARE DOG FRIENDLY! I enjoyed the Slap Fight, and Blind Pirate.

Sweetwater Brewing Company

195 Ottley Drive Atlanta, GA 30324

Sweetwater is probably one of the most well-known breweries in the state. They have some of the best brews and host a festival in Atlanta called Sweetwater 420 Fest where hundreds of people gather. They hold 20-minute tours from Wednesday to Sunday for only $8.00 but the hours vary during the holidays. Sweetwater in Atlanta GA has a very large space. Both indoor and outdoor offering ample spacing and I love that they are Dog friendly! Try the tasty 420 Pale Ale, and get yourself a Giant Pretzel or order the Korean BBQ Philly!

Chris Tran Hot Take: Any of these local breweries will hit the spot, but when I'm looking for a great chill spot to have a cold one here's what I'm looking for:

Dog friendly

Plenty of craft beer options

Spacious and open concept

Great social ambiance
